If you're traveling away from home and want to keep up with your shows, you might want to try a VPN (virtual private network). VPNs alter your device's location by connecting to another country's servers, so you can access websites and apps that might not be available in your current geographical location. This particular situation is best for people who have existing subscriptions and are simply traveling abroad at the moment, since all of the streaming services we've outlined require region-specific forms of payment.

    Games of Thrones spin-off

If you've already binged Game of Thrones but you're not ready to leave George R. R. Martin's world behind, you're in luck. HBO began airing a spin-off prequel, House of the Dragon, in 2022. The series is set about 200 years before Game of Thrones and details the fall of the House Targaryen, long before Daenerys Targaryen came along. There is only one season so far, but the show returns for a second installment on June 16. In the US, you'll be able to find this on Max as well.

Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries, and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
